The economy is in middle of crisis? When other people got laid off, trucking business still carry on! Yup, there're always jobs for a pro truck drivers, since lots of companies need persons who can transport products, materials from place to place and for both long and short hauls.



As I stated earlier, in 1992 I became an over-the-road truck driver. In the fall of that year, my father passed away. When you're driving down the road in a big truck, you have the opportunity to do lots of thinking. One day, as I recall, my JD Truck Training Centre was out in the great northwest, Montana to be exact. Thinking of my past, my dad, and where I was, I started to create a poem. I call it This Great Land Of Ours.

To distill his work to it's essence, Pavlov fed a dog whilst he rang a bell. He noted that over time if he rang the bell, the dog would salivate, even if no food were present. It seemed that the cue (the bell) led directly to the desired response (salivation), even when no reward (the food) was present.

This is very possible. I have met a lot of truckers that didn't go to a Truck driving school. They learned it right at home growing up. They either grew up on a farm, or their dad took them on the road trucking. These guys who grew up on trucking really have the advantage HR licence in victor harbour with the experience they learned through the years.

Because really, why should the state care if you can do a blindside parallel park? It's not like you're going to be using this maneuver to jockey into a parking space on the public roadways.

The schooling began with nothing but classroom study for the first week or two. If you decide to attend driving school at a HR Truck Licence company....let the propaganda begin! They won't waste any chance at promoting themselves, believe me. They will also make you feel like it is your privilege to be working for them. Get used to that. Now here's your first piece of raw truth about the industry... companies are completely and totally desperate for truck drivers. I mean DESPERATE!

Now that you know how much it costs for tuition, you should also consider other costs like financing, room and board or hotel stays, transportation to the school, amenities etc. Be conscious of the numbers game. It might be $5000 for one school all-inclusive and $4000 for another but you still have to pay for hotel. That makes them the same. So you really have to evaluate the schools and do your due diligence.

Besides the compensation for the work you perform, there are other reasons to consider this type of work. Namely because most trucking companies will also provide health/life insurance and retirement plans. Every companies compensation plan and benefits will differ, so be sure to review them carefully.
